Spyware PDF Print E-mail
Spyware is a piece of software that installs itself on your computer without your permission. It can be installed when you download a free software program from the Internet, by visiting an infected website, or by clicking on a pop-up. Spyware records your Internet habits and reports that information back to a company (usually for advertising purposes) but spyware can also be used to record usernames and passwords that can be used to steal your identity.
